Summary

[General description] This new hospital laundry building is of red brick with an iron roof which has a ridge vent, probably to remove steam. A red brick wall provides the boundary for the hospital grounds. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 763 / Hill Street, east side / July 15, 1926 / the low building in the foreground was erected on a vacant site in 1926 as the laundry of the North Adelaide Hospital. Measurements Right side of the building is 43.5 yards north of Strangways Terrace. Frontage: 21 yards. For historical notes see Newspaper Cuttings, vol. 1, p. 243 and Res. Notes 112'.
