Summary

[General description] The new premises for the Franklin Motor Company is a large two storey building with plate glass windows through which cars on display can be glimpsed. The makes of cars dealt in are displayed on the building: Morris, Minerva and Jewett. A smart tourer is parked in front of the building. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 243 / Franklin Street, north side / west corner of Tatham Street / June 27,1926 / Franklin Motor Co.'s premises erected in 1926,. For view of houses formerly on this site, see B 2760. For view of Tatham St. frontage see B 3417. Franklin St. frontage: 20 yards.'
