Summary

Aerial view of Mortlock Park, Colonel Light Gardens. St Theresa's School is just off the photo at the bottom and central to the photo (on the eastern side of the junction at the south west corner(bottom left)). At the top of the picture, near the oval shape, was a playground with a giant swing on the right. Opposite the playground was the public School (north side of the park) The infant school is on the eastern side near the trees. Weekly trots meetings and Australian rules football games were held during the 1950s, and later English football games were played there on a Sunday morning.
