Summary

[General description] This plain brick building has a sign painted on its end wall with the names of the proprietors: 'Alcock & Co. Pty. Ltd. / Geo. Hassall.' Wooden picket fencing and a galvanised iron gate are seen in the foreground. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 6 / Fenn Place, east side / June 14, 1926. / Alcock's premises erected in 1925 on a vacant site. Far side of Alcock's is 36 1/2 yards south of North Terrace. Frontage of Alcock's: 20 1/2 yards' (Another hand) 'For a view of this building looking south, see B 13190.'
