Summary

[General description] Panoramic view of North Adelaide buildings, roads and gardens, looking north. Part of a rear tower of St. Peter's Cathedral appears in the foreground. Across the lower part of the photo runs Kermode Street, where a man driving two cows can be seen just to the right of the tower. Opposite Brougham Gardens (on the right) are the mansions of Brougham Place. Note the elaborate formal garden of the large house in the centre of the view. O'Connell Street is seen in the distance. [On back of photograph] 'Looking north from St. Peter's Cathedral. Probably 1903-5 / Acres 721, 722, 723, 727, 711, 738, 739, 740, 741'.
