Summary

[General description] A clergyman stands by the gate of St. John's church. It is a stone building with brick quoins and a Norman style tower, partially obscured by gum trees. This postcard appears to have been the property of Mr. R.J. Rose who was the editor of the Laura Standard. For another view of the church, see SRG 94/10/29/252. [On back of photograph] 'Reproduced in the Observer, June 19, 1926' (Another hand) 'St. John's Church of England Church / Laura / 1926 / Jubilee celebration ... years / Return photo to R. J.
