Summary

Paddle-steamers 'Industry' and 'Gem'. [PS "Industry" came to Mildura in 1948, under her new skipper Walter Rundholm, to be slipped to undergo a thorough overhaul. She had to wait for the 'Gem' to come off the slip (after her sinking at Cal Lal) before she could go up. This photo is probably taken just after the 'Gem' went back in the water and the 'Industry' was taken up onto Anderson's slip. The 'Gem' was on the slip for about 10 months, so this photo was probably about September 1949].
