Summary

[General description] This is a new two storey brick factory building. Its steel-frame, industrial windows are frosted to provide light and cut out glare. At its rear is an older factory with a saw tooth roof and tall chimney. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 561 / Halifax Street, south side / April 18, 1926 / Factory erected in 1925. For view of cottage formerly on the site see B 2555. Frontage of factory: 12 yards. Right side of factory is 37 yards east of King William Street.' (Another hand) 'For view of this building (front portion only) after alterations made in 1954, see B 12865. Note the saw-tooth roof portion must have been demolished some time between 1926 and 1953. See B 12865.'
