Summary

[General description] Nine storey building of the T & G Mutual Life Society located on the corner of Grenfell Street and King William Street. The building has a hanging verandah from the first floor shading the footpath. Balustrades and small columns adorn the top floor of the building. Cars and bicycles can be seen near the building. [On back of photograph] Acre 141. South corner of Grenfell and King William Sts. 1926. The T&G (Temperance & General Mutual Life Assurance Society Ltd.) Building erected in 1925. For view of buildings formerly on this site see B 1190. Grenfell Street frontage: 31 yards. King William Street frontage: 24 yards. Reproduced in Observer, Feb. 13, 1926.
