Summary

Original colour tinted lithograph of a view of central Adelaide, showing finite detail of buildings. The lithograph was created from a photograph taken from the top of the new chimney stack at Burford & Son's Works, Sturt Street. In the extreme left foreground is Russell Street; centre foreground: Norman Street. Street in the immediate foreground, left to right, is Sturt Street. The image was printed in the Pictorial Australian , May 1885. The related article accompanies the image.
