Historical information

55 persons disenbarked on 5th May 1928 at Outer Harbor. Five of which were the Bedford family. One, Anthony "Tony" eight years old. In May 2010 writing to nis nephew Robin Trevilyan, Anthony (98 years old) says: "The Orsova was full of Italian males leaving Britain. My father and I were placed in a cabin with four bunks, two for us and two for a pair of Italian gentlemen. It was the lowest part of the ship and all cabins were stifling with the heat."
