Summary

Australian Light Horse Memorial, Adelaide, at its unveiling ceremony on April 5th, 1925. A crowd has assembled for the ceremony which includes a church choir. This memorial is situated on the corner of North and East Terrace, and is dedicated to the memory of the Light Horsemen who died bravely in battle during the First World War. The War Horse Memorial trough, situated originally in Victoria Square, was moved adjacent to this site in 1967.
