Summary

Stephens Place, Adelaide, east side, from North Terrace, taken 1872-89, on the same day as B 2469. This building is G & R Wills' Clothing and Boot Factory. Three women, probably employees, stand in the doorway of the building, and a man with a hand barrow poses in front. An article and illustration in the 'Observer', 15th August, 1903, shows that it was here, in this building, that Matthew, Charles, and Samuel Goode started their wholesale business, in 1856.
