Summary

Grenfell Street, Adelaide, north side, on January 18th, 1925. The Trustee Building stands on the west corner of James Place. The left side of Universal Buildings is 44 yards and the right side is 15 yards west of James Place. The right side of Universal Buildings was demolished in 1925: see B 4227 for the new structure. The left side the building, with Southern Cross Assurance Company and W.E. Collins, Land Brokers, was demolished in 1927. See B 5146 for the replacement. The section of the building with the raised parapet, inscribed 'Universal Buildings', was the last to go. See B 6204 for a view taken in 1932, prior to its demolition.
