Summary

Mail plane. A researcher has provided the following information: 'The aircraft is a Short Scion II six passenger airliner belonging to Adelaide Airways. Construction Number S.791. It was in the purple and gold colour scheme of the company. Later it briefly operated on floats out of the Brisbane River. It was broken up in the late 1940s'.
