Summary

Stephens Place, west side, 5th July 1924, showing James Marshall & Co. premises next to Verco Building. The north side of Marshall's is 38 yards from North Terrace. The two storey building in the foreground was demolished in 1925. For view of the premises subsequently erected see B 3959. A horse and cart, motor car and a motorcycle are all parked in Stephens Place. James Marshall and Company were furniture warehousemen and there are many signs in the windows advertising their winter sale.
