Summary

Madge Motor's and Breakdown Service,Grote Street, south side, corner of Moonta Street, 5 July 1924. Frontage of building is 28 yards. Cars of the era are parked out the front and at the side of Madge Motors and Breakdown Service Limited. There is also a petrol bowser and a stunted Morton Bay fig tree on the footpath. Possibly a tram line runs in front of the building. For a photograph taken on March 28th 1924 before the appearance of Madge's advertisements see B 2206. For a photograph taken in 1925 after the conversion of these buildings into a garage see B 2656.
