Summary

White Horse Inn, Currie Street, Adelaide. 'This ancient hostelry, bearing a name famous in the hunting country of England, was originally known as the 'Bee Hive' when its doors first opened in 1841. Three years later the name was changed to the 'White Horse Inn'. Despite the fact that it continued to flourish until 1922, unfortunately little is known of its actual history. It was delicensed in 1922 to make way for the present Elder House.
