Summary

[On back of photograph] 'Cape Jaffa Lighthouse. Circa 1910' [General description] Cape Jaffa Lighthouse, showing the Lighthouse and its pier, where ships can tie up and unload stores. A small group of men stand on its balcony, looking out over the reef, which can be seen in the foreground. Established in 1872 on Margaret Brock Reef off Cape Jaffa, at the end of its service, the screw pile lighthouse was dismantled and reassembled at Kingston.
