Summary

Horses and carriages crossing the Hack's Bridge over the River Onkaparinga at Mylor. It was built as a laminated timber arch bridge (with horizontally laminated arch ribs) around 1857-1859. Its ribs rotted and were replaced by vertically laminated timber arch ribs around 1873-1878. These in turn rotted and were replaced by concrete arch ribs in about 1919. (From information provided).
