Historical information

Second row, third from the left is Archibald Arthur Jubilee (Bill) Argoon, sometimes referred to as (Will) or Mr W. Argoon. He was trumpeter in the Anzac Divisional Band which landed in Egypt August 9th 1915. He went to live in Victoria after the war, married Margaret Symons, had four children and continued to play the trumpet. (information supplied by a researcher) [duplicate copy at PRG 458/1/2/84].
