Summary

Public hall at Penong, with a large group of people posed in front of it. It was built in 1901 and often used for balls, dances and wedding receptions. It was replaced by the new Penong Memorial Hall in 1965 and is now (2008) used as a surfboard manufacturing business owned by world-renowned board shaper Paul Gravelle.
