Summary

Mr Amos Armour and his wife Elison (nee Proctor), early colonists in their garden at Stanford Villa, Mitcham, immediately west of the railway station. The couple, dressed in their best, admire a large orange tree, whilst a man, possibly the gardener, looks on. Amos Armour was born in Bedfordshire, England and was a coachbuilder by trade.
