Summary

Montefiore, A sub-tropical corner. Sir Samuel Way's residence at North Adelaide was set in an exotic, if miniature garden. The house was a monument to his hospitality, bibliophilia and the arts and crafts movement. He lived there for 40 years. Sir Samuel Way is remembered as a baronet, Chief Justice, a Member of the Lower House, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of the Freemasons in South Australia and University Chancellor.
