Summary

Trinity Church, North Terrace. Copied from Kingston's Map of Adelaide, 1842. The church has had many extensions and renovations since then, see SRG 94/A2/118 for an image taken in 1963. First rector of the church was the Reverend C.B. Howard, who was appointed Colonial Chaplain and performed religious ceremonies on the HMS Buffalo in 1836, then held the first service in South Australia at Holdfast Bay on 1st January 1837.
