Summary

The Governor (Sir E. Bastyan) at the opening ceremony of the Myponga Reservoir unveiling a plaque, 8 November 1962. Construction began in 1958 for this reservoir which is fed by the Myponga River and others in the catchment area. The reservoir has a concrete arch dam with a ski-jump spillway
