Summary

View of Adelaide looking south east toward the Adelaide Electric Supply Company Power House, Grenfell Street. This was established in 1897 and supplied electricity to the Adelaide area until 1946 when it was replaced by the Electrricity Trust of South Australia. The original office building was built in 1921 (Tandanya) and the power station was officially opened in 1901
