A shell shaped sign over the entrance indicates Shell petrol, oil etc. is sold there. 'Shellubrication' is advertised. [On back of photograph] ' Acre 210 / Pirie Street, south side / August 16th 1960 / Left side of Padfield's Motor Works abuts west side of Naylor Street / Frontage of Padfields Motors is 30 yards / For view of this building in 1927 see B 4042'
