Summary

[General description] Rear view of the Barr Smith Library, University of Adelaide, constructed 1924-1932 of red brick with stone dressings. A large lawn area with gravel paths is seen in the foreground. The library was gifted to the University by Thomas Elder Barr Smith, as a memorial to his father, Robert Barr Smith who had bequeathed large sums of money for the purchase of books.
