Historical information

This store was owned by Hilton James and Dorothy Key. The building was eventually replaced by a two storey building that today stands as a lawyers office. During the renovations the store was temporarily relocated across the road. The pet shop was managed by 3 generations of the Key family and was started in the Central Market by Charles Key. (Information supplied by a researcher).
