Summary

South Terrace east, 5 September 1957. Left side of St.Andrew's Hospital is 54 yards east of Vincent Street. Frontage: 18 yards. St Andrew's Hospital was opened in 1936 as an initiative of Janet Hay, the owner and Director of Nursing. The Presbyterian Church bought the hospital and land in 1947 and renamed it St Andrew's Presbyterian Hospital, but in 1977 after the inaugeration of the Uniting Church the Board of Governors the hospital reverted to its original name of St Andrew's Hospital
