Summary

Hubbard Motors Ltd., Grote Street, south side, 27 December 1956. Includes advertising for Matchless Motor Cycles and Hub Ray Cycles. Right side of Hubbards building abuts west side of Moonta Street, frontage is 28 yards. Building previously occupied by Madge Motors. According to a family member, Hubbard Motors was established in 1927 by Arthur Hubbard, Thomas Hubbard and Charles "Les" Bray. Compare with B 2656 taken in 1925. According to the advertising on the building Hubbards also dealt with television sets, radiograms, washers and refrigerators
