Summary

The Tantanoola Tiger. In 1884 a Bengal tiger escaped from a travelling circus and eleven years later local man Tom Donovan thought he saw the tiger with a sheep in its jaws. However it was a Eurasian wolf which was probably a stowaway from a boat wrecked off the coast. The wolf was stuffed and is on display in the Tantanoola Hotel
