Summary

Dunlite Electrical Co. Ltd., Tavistock Street, west side, August 15th 1955, left side of the building is 42.5 yards north of Rundle Street and frontage is 28 yards. This building was completed in 1952. For a view showing part of the cottages formerly occupying the site see extreme right of B 1462. An additional floor was erected in 1955. Dunlite "has been powering the Nation" since 1936. Dunlite Electrical Company Limited was owned by LB Dunn and opened for business in July 1936 at 22A Tavistock Street (now Frome Street). They specialised in electrical appliances, automotive repairs and rewinding
