Summary

Christ Church Day School, Kapunda. Reverend Hornabrook and Miss Day ran the Day School in Kapunda. This building was used as the Parish Hall from approximately 1905. A famous headmistress of the Christ Church Day School was Ellen Bentham who held this position for two years starting in 1893 before studying in Europe. She returned to teach at Dryburgh House School in Adelaide and later at Tormore House School. She was the first female academic at the University of Adelaide
