Summary

[General description] This pair of two storey houses with iron lace balconies appear to be somewhat run down. Cars, including a caravan are parked at at the kerb. They are part of a group of houses that are about to be demolished, see B 14039 and B 14040 [On back of photograph] 'Acre 489 / Carrington Street, south side / 16th May 1955 / These two houses are situated on either side of Hampstead Place / The nearest house has a frontage of 14 1/2 yards / Further house has a frontage of 15 1/2 yards'
