Summary

[General description] Freeman Motors dominates this view of east end of Grenfell Street, occupying the two centre buildings. They specialised in Holden and Bedford vehicles. Mostly Holden cars are parked out front. Next door (right) is Harvey's, suppliers of milking machines and other agricultural implements. [On back of photograph] 'Acres 153, 154 / Grenfell Street, south side / March 14th 1955 / Right side of Freeman Motors is 40 yards east of Tam O'Shanter Place and frontage of the two Freeman Motors buildings is 40 yards.'
