Summary

ROBE: Premises of the Bank of South Australia at Robe with St. Peter's Church in the background. In 1864 Thomas Drury Smeaton was manager of the newly formed branch of the Bank of South Australia at Robe. From 1840 the Bank of South Australia was associated with the South Australian Banking Company. From 1868 there was only one body which was the Bank of South Australia. St Peter's Anglican Church was open for worship in April, 1860. The church tower and bell can be seen to the left of the church
