Summary

Donkey team; location unknown. Donkeys and mules were used for hauling purposes in Australia between 1890 -1920 but they never really caught on due to camels coping better in the dry and rough ground. Donkeys and mules were used as pack and draught animals. Camels were in troduced in the 1840's suited the harsh conditions along with oxen and horses
