Summary

Milang Post Office. From 1853 Milang grew into a bustling little port servicing traders on the way up and down the river. The Post Office, Police Station and churches were built at this time. The photograph shows a stone building which housed the Post Office, Telegraph Office, the Commonwealth Bank and the Savings Bank of South Australia. A horse drawn buggy and a motor car stand outside the corner building
