Summary

Waterfall Gully was home to the Kaurna people for over 40,000. When Europeans arrived they found First Creek tumbling down the rockface into the gully below. The area became popular with picnickers and a water mill that had been erected by Thomas Cain earlier was dismantled about the time of this photograph. Later a weir was constructed to hold water for the local market gardeners and Adelaide
