Summary

Mail Boat at Glenelg (view from Jetty Rd.). The photograph shows a large steamer approaching Glenelg Jetty. A horse drawn carriage stands in the foreground between the Pier Hotel to the south and the Glenelg Institute Building (later Glenelg Town Hall) to the north. The cupula seen in the photograph was added in 1884. Many people have gathered on the jetty to welcome the steamer
