Historical information

Samuel Calvert was born 21 November 1828 in Brixton, London, England. Died 1 January 1913 at Crowthorne, Berkshire, England. Calvert was a wood engraver who left Adelaide in 1852 to work in Melbourne and later returned to England, 1904-1905.
