Historical information

Rev Thomas Field was born in London in 1830, and educated at King's College, London. He came to South Australia in 1862. In 1865 he was appointed to St. Paul's Church at Glenelg. He also served as chaplain to the Adelaide Gaol, the Destitute Asylum, and the Cottage Homes. He died on 29 September 1899.
