Summary

William Kennedy, first Dean of North Adelaide. A month's mind was held in 1897 for the repose of the soul of the late Very Rev. Dean Kennedy at St Laurence's Church in North Adelaide.The congregation were told how he performed missionary work at the Kadina mission, edited the "The Catholic Monthly", he wanted the young and old to have the opportunity to read, he planned to build a presbytery and a boy's school, a new convent for the Sisters of St Joseph and the erection of the beautiful Dominican Priory Chapel
