Heath Nash. According to a researcher, Heath Nash is the brother of Eleanor Maria Lansdowne Nash, nee Darby, (of the Darby's of Leap Castle in County Offaly, Ireland). Heath Nash was a cook, born in Adelaide and was part of John McDouall Stuart's successful expedition through the centre of Australia.

Heath Nash was the eldest child of James George Nash and his wife Mary Caroline (nee Darby), born 2 September 1838 in South Australia. (His parents had arrived aboard the 'Canton' on 2 May 1838; the rest of the family returned to England aboard the 'Irene' in March 1856.)
