Summary

[General description] Cape Jaffa Lighthouse.This lighthouse was purpose built on the Margaret Brock reef in 1872 and incorporated a dwelling which accommodated two lighthouse keepers and families. Its Chance Brothers lantern could be seen for a maximum distance of 40 kilometres. It was moved to Marine Parade Kingston in 1976 where it is now part of a museum.
