Summary

[General description] Two locomotives are passing each other in a smoky haze, one departing, the other arriving at the Adelaide Railway Station. In the one on the left the driver (or fireman) can be seen behind the tender. On the right is one of the 620 class Pacific type locomotives that ran between Adelaide and Port Pirie from 1937. [On back of photograph] 'Locomotives at the Adelaide Railway Station / On the right - Locomotive used on the East West Express / 1938'.
