Summary

Statue of Robert Burns when in front of the Art Gallery, North Terrace. The original site of the statue was on the west corner of Kintore Avenue and North Terrace. (unveiled May5, 1894) In 1930 the statue was removed to the site shown in this photograph. In February 1940 the statue was moved to a site on the North Terrace plantation between the Institute Building and the Public Library. Today it can be found in the forecourt of the State Library of South Australia building.
