Summary

"Struan House", the home of the Robertson family near Naracoorte. John Robertson took up land at Wando Vale on the Wannon River. He named this Struan Station. The third house to be built under the name of Struan featured elaborate cornices, centre pieces, plaster ornaments, spacious rooms and an Italian marble fireplace. The two storey house with a four storey tower was built of limestone and sandstone by local builder Henry Smith.
